Lee: I was born in a small village called Shirebrook. From a really young age i would sit and draw and even paint. I won my first ever art competition at the age of 5. From that day i knew that drawing was something that made me and other people happy. I was a quiet boy and art was the one way i could express my feelings and make people notice me. I then went to Art college where even the the art teacher ask me if i would do portrait for her, this i couldn’t believe and was a real compliment to me. I started painting portraits from the age of 16 and never really exploded any other mediums in art other than oils, watercolours, and pastels until around 5 years ago. I got my first wacom drawing tablet and was amazed how close it came to actually drawing on paper, but allowed me to produce my Cartoons and Illustrations even quicker than ever. Since i started using a drawing tablet, nearly 90% of my art is done with a wacom intuos4. I have produced card designs, web banners, logos and many other things using a tablet. My words of advice to any budding artist is experiment, and try not to copy other artists work to much. Create your own style and keep porgressing with it.
